Information, not an operated activity
Riddle Garden Range publishes general ideas for garden mystery trails and outdoor puzzles. It does not operate your event, supervise participants, inspect a venue, grant land access or provide professional safety, legal, medical or accessibility advice. Examples must be adapted to the actual place, conditions and people involved.
Nothing on this site guarantees that a particular route or puzzle is suitable, accessible or safe. Reading a checklist does not replace a site-specific assessment, appropriate expertise or the duties that apply to a host, educator or organisation.
Your responsibilities outdoors
Obtain the permissions needed from owners and operators. Follow local law, visitor rules, safeguarding requirements and any insurance or organisational procedures relevant to your activity. Make suitable arrangements for supervision and emergencies. Recheck the route when weather, maintenance or other conditions change.
Do not trespass, damage plants, disturb wildlife or attach materials where permission has not been given. Do not place clues in hazardous locations, inside unknown openings or where players must climb, reach through thorns or enter restricted areas. Stop or postpone if conditions are unsuitable.
Ask participants about the support and alternatives they need. Our accessibility suggestions are practical starting points, not a certification of a venue or a guarantee of compliance with any particular standard.
Enquiries and downloadable drafts
The contact tool prepares text locally in your browser. It is not a delivery service and does not submit a message, make a booking or create a contract for event planning. You are responsible for reviewing the text, choosing whether to copy or export it, and sending it through your own email application.
We do not guarantee a response or response time. Do not use the enquiry address for emergencies or send sensitive participant information. The privacy notice explains how drafts and correspondence differ.
Using the published material
You may use the original planning ideas and adapt the original sample clues on this site for your own non-commercial family or educational activity. Do not reproduce substantial parts of the site, resell its text or present it as your own publication without permission. Contact us about broader reuse.
Photographs, named books, quoted material, trademarks and other third-party works may have separate rights. The permission above does not grant rights in those materials. Linking to or mentioning a work does not authorise copying it.
Accuracy and outside references
We aim for useful, understandable information, but errors or omissions may occur. Places, policies and guidance can change. Verify current rules directly with the relevant operator or authoritative source before relying on them. Mentioned venues, organisations and authors do not sponsor or endorse this website.
Tell us about an apparent error by identifying the page and the issue. We may revise content without preserving every earlier version.
